Taba Heights Marriott Red Sea Resort gives back!

Dec. 16, 2012 - PRLog -- As part of Marriott International Global Customer Appreciation Week (GCAW), the Taba Heights Marriott Red Sea Resort paid a visit to the local school to assist in some much needed maintenance. The GCAW is an important aspect of the Marriott culture as it embraces and supports local communities and gives thanks to customers who support the Marriott every year. As well as personally thanking suppliers and top accounts, an integral part of this special week is to give thanks and to show support for the local community. This years motto ‘We open the door to a world of possibilities’ inspired the team at the Taba Marriott to try and give something back to the local community. It was decided that this year’s initiative would be to visit the local school of Taba Heights and assist in some much need maintenance and repair tasks. Teams from the hotel management and Engineering department volunteered their time and painted the lunch area bright yellow and blue, to replace a very clinical white color and bring some fun and enjoyment to the space. Air conditioning units were fixed, IT support given in the administration offices and essential playground maintenance was carried out. The Food & Beverage team also provided a delicious chocolate cake that was distributed amongst the pupils and the teachers.  General Manager Brian Nourollahi stated that “It is essential that we take care of our local communities and show support by giving something back, especially at a local school where, after all, children are the customers of the future.”
