Dec. 15, 2012 - PRLog -- Pop/singer Neenah Taylor will perform Saturday, December 15, 2012 at the Girl Scouts of San Gorgonio “B.I.G. Expo 2012” at the Palms Springs Convention Center. The expo will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will also feature Raini Rodriguez of Disney’s “Austin and Ally,” Damien Haas, Audry Whitby and Allisyn Arm of Disney’s “So Random,” and Ashley Argota of Nickelodeon.

Neenah is currently in the studio recording her debut album with three songs already completed. Two of the three original songs are on movie soundtracks. Taylor co-wrote all three songs - “Without You,” “Don’t Run Away” and “Stupid” - produced by Moho Productions. “Don’t Run Away” appears on the soundtrack to the Imagination film Gabe the Cupid Dog. “Stupid” is on the soundtrack for the feature film My Dogs Christmas Miracle, which stars Brenda Song, Greg Evigan and Cynthia Gibb and “Without You,” features horn player Joe Escriba of the band Tower of Power. At last year’s “B.I.G. Expo” Neenah performed as opening act for Roshon Fegan of Disney’s “Shake It Up” and “Dancing with the Stars.” In the past she has performed as opening act for Trey Songz and Angie Stone. Taylor also has her own band - Stewart Jean on drums, Mike Mennell on bass, Bob Emmet on keyboards, and Matt Waldrum on guitar - and can be seen performing with them at the Sherman Oaks Festival in Los Angeles at http://youtu.be/nMH7PsrM-GI.  



Also an actress she has co-starred with seasoned actress Sally Kirkland (House Under Siege, “Criminal Minds”) in the Write Act Theater and CRE Entertainment reading presentation “My Mother, My Daughters, and Me” and with NAACP Image Award winning actor Kadeem Hardison in the family film Sister Switch.
