South Carolina author publishes fantasy novel.

Dec. 15, 2012 - PRLog -- The Marvelous Land of Ap is a fantasy novel.  When a young woman named Ella finds herself transported to the Marvelous Land of Ap, she is less than pleased.  All she wants to do is go home.  Charlie, a longtime resident of Ap, agrees to look after Ella until she can return to the world.  However, things get complicated when Charlie must take a young boy named Thimble, and a reluctant Ella, from the safety of Ap, into the uncertain dangers of the Dustlands.

George R. Shirer was born and raised in South Carolina, but has lived in Alaska, Ohio, Virginia and Washington, D.C.  Before becoming a full-time author, Mr. Shirer worked for the federal government for over twenty years.  He is the author of several short stories, two short story collections, and a role-playing game sourcebook.  Earlier this year, Mr. Shirer published his science fiction novel, Dawnwind: Last Man Standing.
