Robinson, a Chicago Southland police sergeant and retired U.S. marine, used LaVida’s therapeutic massage services to recover from a motor vehicle accident in 2010. He was told by doctors he might never walk again after a drunk driver hit the motorcycle he was driving at the intersection of 151st and Cicero, in which he sustained several life-threatening injuries. Robinson then turned to LaVida Massage for therapeutic relief of the aches in his muscles around the injured joints and bones. With LaVida’s massage therapy, and a lot of determination, he’s made substantial progress in his recovery—he now walks, drives and is physically active.

In addition to sharing the health and wellness benefits of massage to the Crestwood community, Robinson and Miller hope to add jobs to the area with LaVida—with intentions to eight positions including therapists and aestheticians in the coming months.
