Dynamic Tweet Volume (DTV) and Influence Index give managers unprecedented insight into their Twitterverse

Dec. 14, 2012 - PRLog -- London, 14th December 2012. CrisisVu®, a new social intelligence and monitoring platform that provides instant clarity and understanding of the Twitterverse today announced two new features. Dynamic Tweet Volume (DTV) and Influence Index will dramatically improve managers’ ability to understand the significance of Twitter buzz around their brand or organisation and more effectively manage issues and crises.

CrisisVu’s unique visual interface presents tweets on your selected Twitterverse in a single visual pane. Whether tracking 10 or 10,000 tweets simultaneously, on any number of topics, CrisisVu offers a unique ‘at a glance’ clarity of the Twitterverse.

With the introduction of Dynamic Tweet Volume (DTV), users can instantly see the number of tweets that make up their Twitterverse, updated instantly as the situation changes, courtesy of CrisisVu’s market-leading real-time server technology. Users can choose to monitor the number of tweets making up their entire Twitterverse or track the number of tweets against an individual keyword or trending topic.

When taking decisions on how to respond to emerging comment or issues it is essential that managers have the tools to understand the influence of those tweeting about their brand or company.  CrisisVu’s bespoke Influence Index utilises a bespoke algorithm to rank tweeter influence on a scale of 1 to 100. Unlike similar offerings however, Influence Index shows not just the raw influence of each tweeter, but ranks influence in comparison to other tweeters talking about the same topic or keyword - so an individual tweeter may have a modest influence when part of the wider Twitterverse but a much higher Influence Index when tweeting with others about a specific topic.

When used in concert, CrisisVu’s Dynamic Tweet Volume and Influence Index gives managers unprecedented insight into the significance of tweets presented, helping to dramatically improve decision making and protecting the investment companies have made in their reputation.

“When fast moving news events break in the Twitterverse, the now commonplace flood of tweets can overwhelm traditional monitoring tools - just when a bird’s eye view of the situation and absolute clarity is needed,” explained Nick Sharples, founder and CEO of CrisisVu. “The new features we have introduced today give even greater clarity to managers tasked with protecting the reputation of their brands and companies, and will dramatically enhance their ability to respond in a timely and effective manner”.

CrisisVu has been designed from the bottom up to address the limitations and inflexibility of existing dashboard based solutions for monitoring social media. Whether used to manage online communities, respond to customer service issues, monitor digital product campaigns or pre-empt and manage issues and crises, CrisisVu delivers exceptional clarity, with its unique visual based ‘Vu’ providing an ‘at-a-glance’ overview of your chosen Twitterverse.
