The foundation was founded by McDonald Hyundai in 2011. Since their beginning the foundation has held two annual golf tournaments, raising $77,500.00 combined. Organizations that participated in the second annual McDonald Hyundai Hope Foundation include: Manheim Denver, Country Financial, ASR, Systems Management Group, LLC, Dent Vision, Wagner CAT, WheelerTrigg O’Donnell, Brickey Construction, Johnson Controls, Auto Alert, Spring Valley Golf Club, Buffalo Boyd’s Williams Equipment LLC, Accelerated Logistics, ProCoat Systems, Weatherproof Roofing, CST, Colorado AVID Golfer, Laptop Repair Denver, Groove, Ding Monkey, Liberty Mutual Insurance and SBSA.

Addison Kleinhans, the foundation’s former ambassador, spoke about how foundations like McDonald Hyundai Hope, has helped improve getting treatments. Little Addison then handed over his ambassadorship to Bella Hicks, a young girl who battled cancer with Addison and has recently been diagnosed cancer free. “I am excited to be the Ambassador,”
