Volpe and Koenig Shareholders Participate in NJTC Commercialization Conference

PRLog (Press Release) - Dec. 13, 2012 - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (December 13, 2012) – Volpe and Koenig, P.C., an intellectual property law firm with offices in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Princeton, New Jersey, announced today that shareholders Ryan W. O'Donnell and Stephen Schott emceed the New Jersey Technology Council's ("NJTC") Regional Commercialization Conference on December 6, 2012, in Wilmington, Delaware.  This is the third year that Volpe and Koenig has sponsored the event, which seeks to join start-up and early technology businesses with interested investors.

Schott led a panel discussion that focused on what start-up companies can expect from investors.  The discussion was set within a skit featuring Darth Vader as a character who invested in a start-up called "Planet Smasher."  Schott wrote the script and even dressed the part of Darth Vader.  Other panelists included Kevin McClosky, Director, Technology Banking and Investments, Spouting Rock Capital Advisors; Savraj Singh, Founder and CEO, Wattvision; Bill Ayers, Founder, Private Equity Exchange and Angel Investor; and Brian Stalter, Assistant General Counsel, Transactional Practice Group, Bristol-Myers Squibb.
