John Michael Thompson is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis and is currently retired a professional engineer (PE). Approaching science from an engineering mindset allows Mr. Thompson the ability to leave scientific baggage behind him and focus on the questions instead of the dogmas. After spending much of his adult life working for major corporations as an engineer, he now finds himself living out a role in the largest of all physical systems—the universe.
