On Monday, December 10, Oryx, Inc. and Rhine Haus teamed up to host a fundraiser for Operation Smile. During the event attendees paid a $5 cover in which all proceeds went to Operation Smile. Those who attended also participated in a raffle and cornhole tournament. The event generated $300 for the organization. Operation Smile is an international charity, which performs cosmetic surgery on children who were born with cleft lips and palates. One surgery costs $240, therefore Oryx, Inc. And Rhine Haus’s efforts will cover more than enough for one surgery. Oryx, Inc. has made a commitment to support Operation Smile throughout the rest of 2012 and into 2013. This is because with the help of Operation Smile, these children's lives and smiles will be changed forever. Employees of Oryx, Inc., Vianca Reyes and Nelson Dukes were in charge of putting together the event. “It’
