The lodges at the ‘adult only’ complex are each designed for just two people and have names – including ‘Love in the Mist’ – and features that make no bones about the fact that once you arrive, love will be in the air.
Triangular in shape, three of the lodges have circular beds (with heart-shaped pillows!), one has a four-poster bed, there are two hot tubs available to guests (Snowdrop Cottage has a circular bath tub) and guests can expect to arrive with petals on the bed.*
There are a number of romantic breaks on offer including:
· Stay 2 nights in a cosy four-poster bed in Rose Cottage including Champagne and truffles from £120 per person
· Stay 2 nights chasing each other around a circular bed in ‘Love in the Mist’ including Champagne and truffles from £125 per person
· Stay 2 nights in triangular ‘Forget me Not’, with a circular bed, with Champagne on arrival plus a meal at a local Indian restaurant from £150 per person
· Spend two nights in Snowdrop Cottage, a bottle of Champagne and a romantic dinner at a local Italian restaurant from £155 per person (subject to availability)
If you’d like to surprise a loved one on arrival with a dozen red roses, they can be ordered in advice from £45.
Little Paddock is owned and run by Sue & Brett Jones, who turned their back on the rat race to create their romantic forest hideaway. They live on site to look after guests, and supply prepared meals made with New Forest ingredients, sourced from a local farm, which can then be cooked in the privacy of the lodges.
The complex also has a tennis court and is ideally located for forest walks, and is just a short drive from the New Forest’s rich choice of cosy pubs, excellent restaurants and local attractions.
*Furnishings vary from lodge to lodge.
A standard three-night break costs from £128 pp (two sharing).
