The Boardwalk on Front
WILMINGTON, NC - North Carolina Hospitality Education Foundation (NC HEF) full scholarship recipient, Julie Ware joins The Boardwalk on Front located on Front Street in historic downtown Wilmington. The expected opening of The Boardwalk on Front is the beginning of January.
Ware, a North Carolina native, is excited to gain experience in various areas at The Boardwalk on Front. “This will be an awesome edition to downtown Wilmington and I’m very excited to work with a great group of people,” said Ware.
Currently a junior majoring in Recreation, Sport Leadership, and Tourism Management with a concentration in Tourism (hospitality)
The concept behind The Boardwalk on Front is a relaxed atmosphere that features a full restaurant, arcade, live stage entertainment, dance floor and bar. The Boardwalk on Front will feature a traditional menu of boardwalk fares such as cotton candy, hot dogs, fried Snickers as well as unique sandwiches, appetizers and salads.
Not only is The Boardwalk on Front a revolutionary concept that offers a unique atmosphere, it also offers a snapshot of history featuring authentic memorabilia and boardwalk planks from some of the most famous boardwalks in the world, including Coney Island. “The boardwalk theme is different and I am excited to be a part of this,” Ware continued.
