FREE Handel's Messiah Is Dec 16 at 7pm at Mother Bethel

Dec. 12, 2012 - There will be a FREE Handel's Messiah concert at Mother Bethel AME Church located at 419 South 6th Street in Philadelphia, PA, this Sunday December 16, 2012, at 7pm. The concert is free and open to the public and there is free overflow parking available at the nearby McCall Elementary School parking lot. Nearly 100 voices will be featured in the choir, along with soloists, and a full orchestra. Mother Bethel offers this event, annually, to the community. Last year nearly 1,000 people filled the historic sanctuary. You could barely find a vacant seat in the balcony.
