By: Fine Art Prints by Jeff Colburn Jeff Colburn, a photographer in Arizona, has created a photography ebook titled "The Vanishing Old West - Jerome." This book celebrates and preserves images of the Old West. "The Vanishing Old West - Jerome" focuses on Jerome, Arizona, a mining town, turned ghost town, turned artist community. This town, that's just 0.7 square mile in size, once had 15,000 inhabitants. When the mine closed this number dropped to about 50, then it rebounded to about 450 people today. "My book will show people that parts of the Old West still exist," Jeff said. "I want people to know that history is still alive, still around them. Making them aware of this can lead to a better understanding of our past, and preservation of those amazing pieces of history that still exist. My photographs will preserve this history for future generations." Look closely at the photographs in this book, and you will be taken back in time. You will see houses, cars and machinery that are vanishing, or already gone. Gone forever from our world, and never to return. They are victims of time, neglect and Nature's eternal and Herculean efforts to turn everything to dust. Members of the press, and magazine editors, can receive a copy of the ebook by contacting Jeff at info@JeffColburn.com. Please put Jerome Ebook in the subject line. Jeff is available to answer any questions you may have about photography. Jeff is an 18-year resident of northern Arizona, and has been a photographer and writer for over 35 years.
