NewSat recognized by the World Teleport Association

PRLog (Press Release) - Dec. 11, 2012 - NewSat Ltd - an independent satellite communications specialist based in Melbourne - was once again recognized by the World Teleport Association, making it into two out of three lists for the organization’s annual Top Teleport Operators list. The rankings are created through a survey of a teleport operator’s services, facilities, as well as business results.

NewSat Ltd was ranked number 10 in the Independent Top Twenty list, which compiles operators based on their revenues from all sources. The Australian company also made it in the top 5 of the Fast Twenty list, which ranks teleport operators based on their revenue growths in recent fiscal years.

The World Teleport Association has long recognized the independent teleport operator down under. Last year, NewSat’s CEO Adrian Ballintine was honored as the Teleport Executive of the Year. Earlier this year, the company’s teleport facilities made it as Top 3 Finalists for the Independent Teleport of the Year category at the WTA’s Awards for Excellence held in Washington D.C.
