Work is being donated by Artists at the local, national and even international levels to be sold at silent auction, with 100% of the money raised in sales going to the Carl V. Bini Foundation, a local 9/11 charity that’s been directly helping families here devastated by the storm.
"Many Hands" Art Benefit Staten Island, December 21st at 7pm to aid those affected by Hurricane Sandy. Paintings, watercolors, photographs, prints and a number of sculptures / mixed-media. Created by the Street-Art/Graffiti, Tattoo and Photography communities on Staten Island will be auctioned. Work by internationally recognized Artists will hang alongside locals, in a show of support to the people of Staten Island. Artwork will be sold at silent auction, with 100% of the money raised in sales going to the Carl V. Bini Foundation.
Staten Island Local Artists, caring members of the community, and thoughtful Donors come together for a Staten Island Sandy Recovery Charity Event. Sales will take place in the form of silent auction, and eclectic raffle items
All artwork can be viewed on the evening of December 21. Art work will be shown on existing structures and temporary walls erected specifically for the event inside the skate park. The highest bidder for each piece at the end of the night will take the art home with them, at the time of payment. Payment will be accepted in the form of cash or credit card.
There will be prize raffles with multiple drawings throughout the night. Sponsors have graciously donated gift certificates, clothing, books, videos and more!
