Dr. Jamie Ricardo Ramos Kelly (http://www.ramoskellymd.com)  is a highly experienced Bariatric Surgeon in Mexico and has performed over 2,500 bariatric weight loss surgeries (including the Lap Band surgery, Gastric Bypass procedure, Gastric Sleeve and the Intragastric Balloon treatment, among others). Born in West Branch, Michigan , Dr. Kelly served in the U.S. Military before becoming a surgeon. He completed much of his medical training in the United States , including a Fellowship at the Trauma Research Center in Los Angeles County Hospital , the University of Southern California and Healthcare Network, General Hospital , Los Angeles CA in 2003. He also completed a 3 year Transplant Fellowship in 2000 at the Michigan Transplant Institute Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo , Michigan . Dr. Kelly graduated with honors and was Magna Cum Laude in 1993 from the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalagajara's Medical School .
