Kia Unveils a Series of Superhero Themed Vehicles for Charity

Kia collaborated with DC Entertainment, West Coast Customs, Ride, and Super Street magazines to produce four unique cars. Comic book artist Jim Lee also had a hand in the design to personalize four different Kia models to superhero personalities. These vehicles will be auctioned off and the proceeds will go to the We Can Be Heroes giving campaign.

The Aquaman Rio 5-Door - The Rio, which is 85% recyclable, is the perfect venue for a custom car based on Aquaman, the protector of the environment. It features a paint job inspired by fish scales and body fins. There are also special LED wheel rings in the 20 inch Asanti wheels and body lighting

The Green Lantern Soul - The homage to the Green Lantern is painted in custom two-tone green and black with special chrome tinted windows. This Soul also rides lower than the standard and sits on 18 x 10.5 inch wheels and widened wheel wells. The designers welded the rear doors shut for a sleek appearance.

The Flash Forte Koup - Custom red and yellow lightning bolt paint recall the Flash’s costume on this customized Forte Koup. A cutout see-through hood allows viewers to take a look at the running engine. Other modifications include 20 inch Asanti wheels and upgraded Continental tires.

The Cyborg Forte 5-Door - The Cyborg inspired Forte hatchback comes with improved suspension and customized metal fenders. The hood is adorned with a big vented air scoop and the side of the vehicle features vents with red LED lights. Inside the tablet computer in the console and the upgraded JL audio system reflect Cyborg’s always plugged-in superpowers.
