Columbia Empire Volleyball Club Welcomes Aries as Presenting Sponsor

The Columbia Empire Volleyball Club (CEVA) announced today that leading women’s sports apparel and accessory company, Aries Apparel has agreed to become a presenting sponsor for the club.

PRLog (Press Release) - Dec. 11, 2012 - The Columbia Empire Volleyball Club (CEVA) announced today that leading women’s sports apparel and accessory company, Aries Apparel has agreed to become a presenting sponsor for the club.

CEVA is the regional organization of USA Volleyball. USA Volleyball has over 40 regions throughout the United States; CEVA represents Oregon and SW Washington. CEVA offers playing opportunities for Junior Girls, Junior Boys, Adults and Outdoor Volleyball.  CEVA is perhaps best known for governing the popular “club volleyball” program in the Portland Metropolitan area that is the training ground for elite volleyball players in our area.

CEVA’s title sponsor for the Junior Girls volleyball program is Nike.  The agreement with Aries is another partnership that will allow CEVA to continue carrying out its mission of promoting junior volleyball in the region.

Volleyball is a strong category for Aries.  The company has made a major commitment to the sport since its inception.  Aries sets up their popular “pop-up” stores at over 40 CEVA events during their competitive season (January-April) alone, as well as another 40+ events in other categories such as softball, basketball, gymnastics and soccer.  Aries carries many major brands of volleyball gear including Nike, Asics, Mizuno, Wilson and Tachikara.

Aries often hosts events at their stores featuring star athletes.  Last year, Aries hosted volleyball star Misty May-Treanor at a private event at their Hillsboro store.  These events have been designed as a thank you to loyal Aries customers.
