Tom Ring's Brown Daub Kia- Lehigh Valley Business of the Year

Dec. 11, 2012 - PRLog -- Tom Ring's Brown Daub Kia of Easton, Pennsylvania won the award of Lehigh Valley Business of the Year for over 100 employees on Monday evening Dec. 10 at Steel Stacks, Bethlehem. Brown Daub Kia was nominated earlier in the year for this award due to its hard work, dedication to employees, as well as its love for the community.

Tom Ring, owner of Brown Daub Kia has been with the company for many years. Ring, known to have heart issues was going to get out of the car business about 6 years ago for his heath. However, he had a longing to make a difference in the community and to help people. What better way than to help people get a nicer, newer car that they deserve.

Brown Daub Kia founded an organization earlier this year, the "Just Do Something Foundation" which encourages people to help others. "If everyone is willing to help each other out we can make this world a much better place. I love selling cars and being in the car business, but what really gets me going is helping others and seeing them for who they can become", said Ring. In April this year, the Just Do Something Foundation released a movie of leaders in the Lehigh Valley who are working hard to make the community a better place as well as helping individuals who desperately need assistance.


As much as Brown Daub Kia is involved with community they also work hard to make sure their employees are happy. Tom Ring stated, "We want to make sure that our employees are happy at work as well as at home. If we have someone who is having problems with their spouse at home we have someone available for marriage counseling or whatever alternatives the couple would like. We are a family at Brown Daub Kia and family takes care of each other." Because of their family attitude you will often find everyone joking around or dancing in the disco ball lit showroom of the dealership. Brown Daub Kia is all about having fun.
