SwingRite Releases Golf Swing Trainer - New, Improved Model That Measures Swing Speed

The SwingRite training device is designed to look like a golf club and measures a golfer’s power with a click. With the new model, power/distance adjustments can be made as the golfer improves.

Dec. 11, 2012 - PRLog -- There are not many guarantees these days, but a golf training aids company called SwingRite is so sure of their product, they are offering an unconditional, money-back guarantee that their swing trainer will add distance to any golfer’s swing.

The SwingRite training device is built on the premise that maximum  power and distance in a golf swing are achieved when the club head is released with proper timing—at the “bottom” of the swing. It is designed to look like a golf club and measures a golfer’s power with a click—an inner spring-release mechanism and power/distance adjustment levels from one through nine, as well as the accompanying swing speeds from 45 to 110.

Golfers using the SwingRite can perfect the timing of their club head release so they release correctly at the bottom—because the device clicks when they do it right. They start at setting nine, and as they progress they set it at lower numbers (one being the lowest)—to create a more powerful swing. Golfers can practice with the SwingRite at home, office, or driving range, indoors or out, all year long.

This innovative swing training aid is the brainchild of Charlie Whitney, a successful civil engineer and real estate developer from Massachusetts. His avid interest in golf led to a second career as a respected golf instructor, and subsequently, to his purchase of the SwingRite company and improvements to the product that made it perform even better than the original.

Kate Whitney, the company’s president, says they have put the Swing Rite and other trainers through rigorous testing, and have proven that it is “the most effective swing trainer on the market today.” Mr. Whitney adds, “With consistent practice, SwingRite will increase your distance up to 20-30 yards or I’ll give you your money back.”

The training aid is used by golf pros across the country. Jim McLellen, of McLellan Golf School in Arrington, Tennessee, uses it with his students. The school is billed as the “home of the perfect golf swing.” Jim says, “I believe in…the Swing Rite to time the swing and give the golfer the proper feedback as to relative swing speed…Most golfers waste power by ‘casting’ or ‘throwing away the power’ before they get to the hitting area.” The SwingRite was voted #1 training aid by the World Golf Teachers Federation and is the official training aid of International PGA and United States Golf Teachers Federation. Swing Rite’s mission is to help golfers of all levels improve their swing, lower their handicap, and increase their enjoyment of the game of golf. The company firmly believes that consistent practice with the SwingRite training aid will result in increased distance, accuracy, and enjoyment of the game for male and female golfers of any level and any age..
