21CI bags the deal to implement LIS for the chain of clinical Labs promoted by HLL Lifecare Ltd

PRLog (Press Release) - Dec. 11, 2012 - 14 Dec 2012: 21st Century Informatics (21CI) wins the LIS contract from Hindustan Lifecare in India. HLL Lifecare Limited (formerly Hindustan Latex Limited) (HLL) is an India government healthcare products manufacturing company based in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India.

With this win, 21CI will implement Apex Enterprise Laboratory Information System that covers end-to-end laboratory automation processes, interfacing with the machines and a multi-site integration spread across seven states in India. The Apex Enterprise LIS will deliver accrued efficiency; render timely and accurate clinical data across centres, collection centres and the head quarters. The key objective is to put in place maximum automation with minimum human intervention, reduced manual works, track and monitor samples and provide instant electronic reports through web

About HLL: A Government of India -owned corporation (Public-sector undertaking), it produces health care products, including Condoms, Surgical Sutures, Hydrocephalus Shunts, Tissue Expanders, blood bags, and contraceptive pills.
