Woodfield Nissan Announces That Nissan Has Shattered All Previous Sales Records for November

Nissan North America, Inc. announced that for the month of November, 96,197 Nissan vehicles were sold in the United States, up 12.9% from the previous year’s total of 84,300 vehicles. Nissan’s sister brand, Infiniti also saw a huge jump of 41.2% over the previous year.

Sales were powered by Nissan’s refresh of five model lines, which enabled them to present a wide range of all-new vehicles in only 15 months. The new models proved to be a hit, appealing to drivers of all segments.

The sales boost was lead by the revival of the latest Pathfinder SUV, which was released in November for the 2013 model. Its sales were up a staggering 249.5% to 8,097 units,

The electric Nissan Leaf posted respectable sales at 1,539 vehicles for the month. That’s up 129% from the previous year due to federal tax incentives offered by the government.

The Rogue compact crossover broke its own sales record with 12,662 units, which is up 16.8 percent from 2011.

The ever-popular Altima also sold well for the month with 20,305 total vehicles heading off of lots around the country to new homes. The Altima has been having a good year with sales up 14.8% above the 2011 total.
