Tampa Based Company Assists in Hurricane Sandy Recovery

PRLog (Press Release) - Dec. 10, 2012 - Tampa, Florida-- On October 29th Hurricane Sandy devastated the shores of New York and New Jersey. Nearly 8 million people from South Carolina to Maine were left without power, 15,000 flights were cancelled, and a distressing 110 lives were lost. The storm that started as a tropical wave in the Caribbean made its way up the East Coast and eventually transformed into a post-tropical cyclone. Monetary aid, volunteers, and military personnel from all over the world have contributed to the recovery process.  

Payne’s Environmental of Tampa, Florida deployed bucket trucks, four semi-trucks and trailers, a grapple truck, two front loaders and other equipment to aid in the disaster recovery process. Contracted under the Army Corporation of Engineers, the total anticipated project is over a billion dollars.

Payne’s Environmental was established in 2005 as Tampa full service tree company. Along with offering disaster recovery and storm clean up services they also offer emergency tree service, land clearing, lot clearing, stump removal, tree trimming, building demolition, and tree clearing. Payne’s, a f recently completed a multimillion dollar land clearing project for Ashton Wood’s Homes, who will be building an environmentally sustainable development in the Westchase neighborhood of Tampa.
