David Adams, director at ScottMadden, presented, “Keeping the Grid Smart and Secure,” as part of the panel discussion. His remarks focused on recent Smart Grid trends and their impacts on transmission development. Mr. Adams noted, “The grid is becoming more intelligent and technologies more interconnected, and as a result, utilities must be more diligent in adopting a culture of security to preserve the integrity of their investments.”
