Shermco Industries Completes Rehabilitation Project on Two EWT International 900 kW Wind Turbines

Dec. 10, 2012 - PRLog -- DALLAS – Waverly Light and Power in Waverly, Iowa, a pioneer in wind energy utilization for municipal utilities, recently selected Shermco Industries as the prime contractor to complete construction of their damaged third utility scale wind turbine.  The original equipment manufacturer, EWT International, based in Amersfoort, The Netherlands, also selected Shermco Industries to install updated components to an existing identical wind turbine. Each of these turbines is rated at 900kW and will provide a substantial percentage of Waverly’s electrical requirements.
