Follow on Google News | UK Employees Suffer Exhaustion at Work Place Due to Damaged EconomyA leading employee benefit consultancy has warned that excessive work pressure and long working hour burns out UK workers.
Only 53 percent of UK employees have stated that they can manage their work stress at their working place. Only average third person believe that the senior management of their organization is supporting health and well being policies for them. Quarters from surveyed employees have accepted that they had not used much personal time off or holidays over last three years. 22 percent of surveyed employees feel that the amount of work they are offering to the company is unreasonable. A third has accepted that their company is under-resourced. Results revealed from UK are similar in other parts of Europe following the Middle East and Africa. The similar number of employees in other parts of world are feeling excessively work pressure at the work place. Senior engagement and well being consultant at Towers Watson, Charles Fair has said that the research highlighted the high concerns over well being and medical insurance (http://www.privatehealthinsurance247.co.uk) of the UK’s workers. He also added that British workers are facing exhausted at work hours due to several years of economic uncertainty. It led to increased anxiety around job security which further put workers in longer working hours than ever and also raising concerns of burn-outs. End
