The 7-inch Amazon Kindle Fire HD is a great way to consume your Amazon content on a small screen, but it's not the fastest or most flexible $200 tablet any more.

Love my kindle fire hd! I had the original kindle fire and this is a great upgrade. So far everything seem to work well. But, it should have come with a charger. Even with the discount on the charger for buying it with the kindle fire hd- not good enough, it should have been included. Also the camera is not hidden. Just go to photos and select the camera icon. But, more should have been included in this feature. Have to download a camera app to record video or to have any options with the camera. The new hd screen is great everything looks great! The adds on the lock screen are not a problem at all. Who spends that much time on the lock screen? The speakers are much louder than the original kindle fire. As I said, so far so good! Will update if anything changes.

I'm enjoying the Kindle Fire though it would be better without the ads. My first one was lost in the mail and after waiting for a specified length of time finally received my Kindle that was shipped 2nd day mail.
I like that I'm aable to listen to my music all day with the battery discharging minimum...as long as the music is on my device. When using my mi-fi 2 weeks of streaming from the cloud almost put me past my limit.
The picture is great and games play well.

Really Worth it. We have an Ipad and nook, but this definitely takes the cake. The graphic are clear easy access. Awesome!
