Since 2002 Carlton has produced, hosted and performed in R&B/Soul Revues in New York City’s world-renowned B.B. King Blues Club & Grill. Initially a one-show deal, his first performance sold-out and inspired the club to book him monthly for a series of tributes to stars including Al Green, James Brown, Curtis Mayfield, Sly & The Family Stone, The Temptations, and Marvin Gaye. Carlton took the same show to The Blue Note in Las Vegas for a four-week run and then performed in the Late Night Groove Series at The Blue Note Jazz Club in New York City.

Carlton was chosen to portray the “Godfather of Soul” James Brown in Barry Levinson’s motion picture “Liberty Heights” (1999), co-starring with Joe Mantegna, Bebe Neuwirth and Adrien Brody. When James Brown died in 2006, Carlton performed in his place alongside Chaka Khan on New Year’s Eve at the B.B. King Blues Club, NYC. Carlton has also performed in the theatre, with a lead role in the Broadway musical “Largo” by award-winning writer David Henry Hwang (“Madame Butterfly” and “Aida”), appearing alongside Cyndi Lauper and Garth Hudson (of the ‘60s super group The Band).

Broderick perhaps better known to many as “The Media CPA” is a fixture on the media circuit. Ms. Broderick appeared regularly for eight years on weekend morning financial segments for WABC Eyewitness News. She has appeared on Good Day New York, WNBC, CNBC, CNN, Fox Business News, Bloomberg, NY1 and WOR Radio discussing tax-related issues. She has interviewed with top financial publications such as The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, and Wealth Manager.
Ms. Broderick completed her TV Producer’s Certification at Manhattan Neighborhood Network and launched her own talk/variety show, GingerNewYork. Segments of the show are aired LIVE at the MNN studios and taped at the Gibson Guitar showroom/Rehearsal Studios in New York City.
Broderick is a faculty member of Queens College/CUNY Continuing Education Program.
Broderick obtained a B.S. degree in accounting from St. John’s University in New York City and is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of New York.
