St. Louis, MO – Independent comic book company eSquared Comics, LLC announced today that it will launch a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds to produce Downpour: The Animated Series, their first cartoon. Company officials plan to use the funds to adapt their comic book character Downpour, into an animated television or web show.
eSquared Comics plans to pitch the animated pilot to network executives at various animation conferences. In addition to providing backers with a great cartoon, eSqaured Comics, LLC is offering its backers rewards as thanks for their contribution.
The animated show will allow the company to explore the theme of fear in a way that both kids and adults could enjoy. The fun and sometimes poignant cartoon will answer how one overcomes fears and if a superhero can fight crime with fear in the back of his mind.
