Dec. 7, 2012 - Bring the family and join in singing Christmas carols at this event sponsored by the National Park Service. There are tours of the Hampton mansion and carriage rides. Refreshments will be served. On Saturday afternoon there will be children's activities. Many park rangers will be onsite to assist you. There is ample parking. Hampton was the largest home in America in 1800, owned by the Ridgely family. Douglas Jimerson is renowned for his performances and vocal interpretation of music of the 19th century. From the Kennedy Center to Carnegie Hall, Jimerson has received rave reviews. Don't miss this very special weekend at Hampton National Historic Site, which is just off I-695, the Baltimore beltway at Dulaney Valley Road northbound, in Towson, MD. Look for the large National Park Service sign on I-695. Saturday, December 8 at 1 PM and 6 PM and Sunday, December 9 at 1 PM.
