Mike Rimbaud releases "Coney Island Wave"

Dec. 7, 2012 - PRLog -- Mike Rimbaud is a singer-songwriter and a painter who is a native New Yorker living in in New York City.  He began his career by performing in bars and rock clubs in New York but it was with record labels in Paris that he released his first 3 CD’s.  

Mike’s latest CD release “Coney Island Wave” contains 12 original songs which were recorded in Manhattan including hits such as “Dark Money Can’t Buy You Kisses”, “Jackhammer Jones” and Robin Hood in Reverse”.

Mike’s latest single’s release “Dark Money Can’t Buy You Kisses” is a romantic love story taking place in New York City for the “Citizens United” era.  This song carries a very smooth beat reminiscent of classic songs from the 70’s disco era.  It captures an essence that has been long buried in the back of our minds.  Mike Rimbaud brings this sound back to its deserved glory with this song.  

Mike Rimbaud overall sound captures the era of the historical British invasion coming to America.  From The Beatles to Dave Clark Five to the Rolling Stones, a sound wakes up the airwaves to the glory days.  His sound is eclectic taking on many genres.  Songs such as “Everyone Needs a Daddy” has a country meets electro rock feel to it.  The topic of this story’s are have no boundaries.  He writes about whatever is on his mind and he does it with incredible class and a hot melody.  It keeps him relevant and trending.

Mike has done several music videos, most recently for the single “Jackhammer Jones” and “Everyone Needs a Daddy”.   Mike has produced and recorded all of his own material.
