John’s background is growing up in the oil fields of the Southwest, chemical engineering and managing international petroleum projects and facilities. The 13th Commandment Unabridged begins in the early 1940’s and is an autobiography of Donovan’s life in different Oklahoma oil towns, college and career. The last chapters in the book end the book circa 2011.
The last four chapters, Greeno’nomics Quicksand, The Environment, The 13th Commandment and Owasso is where you will found the answers to most of the questions mentioned above!! The section on global warming is a must read for everyone because the interface between the earth and its atmosphere is discussed in terms of a multicomponent thermodynamic model. Additionally, because John’s best friend was a Cherokee Indian growing up in the Osage; references to Indian tribes are sprinkled throughout The 13th Commandment Unabridged.
