Alumni Association of the University of Michigan Hosts Official University of Michigan Outback Bowl

PRLog (Press Release) - Dec. 7, 2012 - ANN ARBOR, Mich., Dec. 7, 2012 – The Alumni Association of the University of Michigan, representing one of the largest alumni bodies in the world, announces the University of Michigan’s Official Bowl tour and Tailgate, taking place Dec. 29, 2012, through Jan. 2, 2013.

The Association has scheduled the official bowl tailgate for 10 a.m. Jan 1, 2013 at the Outback Hospitality Village at Hillsborough Community College, across the street from Raymond James Stadium. “Our renowned athletic travel experiences provide Michigan alumni with insider access and experiences that they cannot get anywhere else,” said Kirk Lutz, director of program delivery for the Alumni Association of the University of Michigan. “Designed by Wolverines for Wolverines, the Outback Bowl Tour promises to be a memorable experience.”

The Wolverines are headed to Tampa, Fla., to take on the South Carolina Gamecocks in the Outback Bowl (http://www.outbackbowl.com/) at 1 p.m. Jan. 1. Thousands of Michigan alumni, fans and friends will gather to cheer the Michigan football team to victory.

The Alumni Association has several options for alumni to experience the bowl game, including a four-night air and land package and a land-only package, as well as a game-day experience or tailgate only tickets.

The Alumni Association’s athletic experiences include an array of sports, tours, tickets and more that gets alumni behind the scenes and close to the action.
