29 – 35 First Avenue – BREEAM Industrial Assessment

PRLog (Press Release) - Dec. 7, 2012 - Syntegra Consulting Ltd (http://www.syntegra-epc.co.uk/) has been appointed as energy consultants to produce an energy strategy for the proposed scheme at “29-35 First Avenue, Enfield, London, N18 3PD” – to demonstrate compliance with national, regional & local planning policies and the Building Regulations L2A compliance for the Davian coaches Building. Demonstrate intent to design to a BREEAM “Very Good” (http://www.syntegra-epc.co.uk/services-we-offer/breeam-as...) and to a minimum 20% reduction of CO2 emissions reduction via renewable energy technology in accordance with planning policy requirements.

The proposed development comprises of a two storey office area and a one storey double height workshop area, located in a urban area of North London. Syntegra has offered consultancy advice in relation to Building regs U-Values building fabric requirements and renewable/LZC technology options. An SBEM model, has been provided based on proposed scheme U-values and other services based design recommendations/assumptions. An Industrial BREEAM pre-assessment was undertaking demonstrating a target of ‘Very Good’.
