PRLog (Press Release) - Dec. 7, 2012 - Syntegra Consulting Ltd has been appointed as energy consultants to produce an energy strategy for the “Development of 4No. new-build houses” for the scheme at 27 – 47 Cecile Park, Haringey, London, N8 9AX – to support the scheme design process, demonstrate Building regulations Part L1A compliance and compliance to a target code level 4 standard (http://www.syntegra-epc.co.uk/services-we-offer/code-for-...) and minimum 20% reduction of CO2 emissions reduction via renewable technology according to London planning policy requirement (http://www.london.gov.uk/thelondonplan/).

The proposed development is a development comprising of 4No. new-build houses, located in a urban area in London. Syntegra will offer consultancy advice in relation to Building regs U-Values building fabric requirements and renewable/LZC technology options. Sustainability and Energy Statements will be conducted demonstrating that the applications include the consideration of all renewable energy technology / energy efficient measures. SAP assessment compliance checks, will be provided based on proposed scheme U-values and other services based design recommendations/assumptions. A series of SAP assessments will need to be run to assist in the evaluation overview justifying building regs compliance.
