PRLog (Press Release) -
Dec. 7, 2012 - The PhoneJoy Play is an innovative concept that has been produced in a bid to tackle one of the most common disasters to ever hit the world of smartphones and iPhones. The device is effectively a portable controller that neatly adapts to any smartphone - to provide a one-stop all-in-one gaming application. Once the PhoneJoy Play has been connected to a smartphone, the phone resembles that of a Nintendo DS, allowing for a truly immersible and natural gaming experience. The PhoneJoy Play features all of the controls that would be associated with a gaming controller, such as side buttons and dual-analog controls. Currently, the PhoneJoy Play has been launched on KickStarter in an attempt to raise funds to allow for the permanent market production and retail of the gaming adapter.
Since the KickStarter launch, the PhoneJoy Play has already raised over 40% of the funding goal. Consumers from around the world have flocked to the site to pre-order their PhoneJoy Play through simply pledging to help chip in funds. In fact, users who choose to pledge money into their KickStarter fundraiser are able to obtain the PhoneJoy Play at a lower retail price than when it's launched.
The PhoneJoy Play will also be featured between the 8th and 11th of January 2013 during the CES2013. 10 Prototypes will be available for viewing and testing purposes.
