Of the billboard, Hyundai’s Chief Marketing Officer, Won-Hong Cho, said, “We wanted to create a special moment with our customers at this special venue.”

Times Square sees around 1.5 million people every single day, and over 550 million visit each year. The billboard space at Two Times Square is one of the most coveted spaces in the world, and Hyundai has maintained advertising at this location since 2009. In the future Hyundai plans to create more interactive content, which might include personalized short films, games, and more. This campaign is a step towards a different kind of advertising which aims to offer viewers a unique experience instead of simply a sales pitch.
