Drew started out his championship marathon in San Antonio, Texas through Fred Medrano and You Be the Star Entertainment. He qualified for the regional competition at the Texas Bull in Gainesville, TX and then won the USA Title at the National KWCUSA (http://www.kwcusa.net)
Noelle began her journey and West Bend Wisconsin at Pillars Pub. She qualified for the KWCUSA National Competition at Game Pazzo in Chicago and then on the KWCUSA National Title. Noelle’s performances were so full of heart and soul that everyone knew Noelle’s love and passion was music. Her ability to speak Spanish was a plus and she was always smiling and making friends at every turn.
Both Noelle and Drew won Airfare, Hotel, and $1,000 cash for their journey to represent the USA at the Karaoke World Championships. The experience is overwhelming and second to nothing in this world. Wendell Payne, President of KWCUSA, says, “It is so hard to convey what this event means to all of us involved and especially the singers. They make lifelong friends from across the world and share so many wonderful moments in such a short time. You cannot overstate what this means to each and every one of them. If I could relay the true meaning of the event to the world, everyone would be lined up outside of every venue for a chance to participate. This is not all about money or fame. Candice Skjonnemand of Australia wrote a beautiful song about it and I have posted the words and a link to the song here at http://kwcusa.net/
KWCUSA is very proud of their team and every participant in the Karaoke World Championships. Every participant is listed at http://kwcusa.net/
Everyone that wants to be a part of this, just go to kwcusa.net and get involved.
