Follow on Google News | BAM Outsource Urges Peterborough To Sign up for ‘Ready to Switch?’BAM Outsource is fully behind the scheme led by Peterborough city council that will help residents and businesses save money on their energy bills.
By: BAM Outsource How does the scheme work? ‘Ready to Switch?’ works by using the combined buying power of residents across the city to negotiate cheaper prices with energy suppliers. Why does BAM Outsource think you should join? The more households that join up to the scheme the bigger the savings everyone will make. The council is expecting residents to save, on average, between £60 and £200 a year. Now that’s worth signing up to! Already almost 5,000 people have signed up to the scheme and BAM Outsource understands that this figure is growing by the day. With over 10,000 households in Peterborough classified as being in fuel poverty, this scheme will go a long way to cutting bills and ensuring that everyone can get the energy they need, particularly with the cold weather this winter. Ben Knowles, managing director of BAM Outsource, says that he will certainly be putting his name down. “What a fantastic idea, and just in time for the worst of winter. This is really a no-brainer for me, sign up and save, it’s as simple as that!” You’ll need to get your ice skates on though, residents have until Monday 17th of December to sign up to the scheme or they will miss out. To register visit the Ready to Switch? website and provide them with your details and your current supplier's details, and you’ll be on the list. Here’s to a warmer Christmas from the team at BAM Outsource! End
