Rs 800 crore deals at MCHI-CREDAI maiden property expo

Demonstrating the enthusiastic response to the maiden Navi Mumbai-Raigad property expo which was jointly hosted by MCHI-CREDAI’s local units, the four-day event attracted over 100,000 footfalls.

Navi Mumbai, December 05, 2012: Demonstrating the enthusiastic response to the maiden Navi Mumbai-Raigad property expo which was jointly hosted by MCHI-CREDAI’s local units, the four-day event attracted over 100,000 footfalls.

“MCHI-CREDAI Navi Mumbai and Raigad Property expo 2012 proved to be a game-changer for the realty market. We are overwhelmed with the response that the expo received as Developers across the board generated an unprecedented level of enquiries at the expo. Our estimate is that approximately Rs 800 Cr worth business deals were negotiated at the event.” said Mr. Rajesh Prajapati, President, MCHI-CREDAI Raigad unit.

Mr. Arvind Goel, President of MCHI-Navi Mumbai, said, “The exhibition clearly proved that Navi Mumbai has become a favorite realty destination for the home buyers and the developers. With the City of the 21st century providing excellent infrastructure, ambience and experience, hundreds of home seekers found the array of properties displayed here attractive.”

The expo had more than 150 stalls and over 100 developers and 10 Housing Finance Companies and Banks participating in it. The expo provided home buyers with a unique opportunity to view and compare best properties in the emerging realty destinations in Maharashtra.

Several new developers also participated for the first time in the exhibition. Participant developers also lined up with site bookings for the visitors who have shown interest in their properties.

Apart from the property pavilions, a special Advisory Station was set up offering the visitors free advise on legal, society and architectural and interior design related matters.

The property expo was inaugurated by Mr. Ganesh Naik, Minister of Labour, Excise and Environment & Guardian Minister, and Mr. Sunil Tatkare, Guardian Minister, Raigad District. Several eminent dignitaries who graced the occasion were Shri. Vijay Nahata, Commissioner - Konkan Division, Shri. Tanaji Satre, Managing Director-CIDCO, Shri. Namdev Bhagat – Director CIDCO Shri Sagar Naik- Mayor- Navi Mumbai, Mr. Sanjeev Naik MP of Navi Mumbai,  Actor Mr. Vivek Oberoi and Mr. Suresh Oberoi.
