Dec. 6, 2012 - PRLog -- On Saturday, December 1, 2012, DJ John Dudley Entertainment provided in-kind event and entertainment services including music, emceeing, and other audio services, to Boston area non-profit organization Cradles to Crayons, during the charity's 7th Annual Un-Gala fundraiser and volunteer event. The event took place at Cradles to Crayons' headquarters in the Boston neighborhood of Brighton, MA, inside what is known to many as "The Giving Factory."

Cradles to Crayons provides children from birth through age 12, living in homeless or low-income situations, with the essential items they need to thrive -- at home, at school and at play. The organization supplies these items free of charge by engaging and connecting communities that have with communities that need. Cradles to Crayons collects new and nearly new children's items through grassroots community drives and corporate donations. Donations are then processed and packaged by volunteers, and are distributed to disadvantaged children across the state through a collaborative network of social service agencies and school partners.

The Un-Gala is a unique event that combines philanthropy with a hands-on day of volunteer service. One hundred percent of the funds raised through the Un-Gala directly support the mission to help thousands of children in need stay safe and warm  during the winter months. More than 300 large-hearted individuals, especially families with young children, came out to support the cause at this year's Un-Gala.

"Cradles to Crayons is near and dear to my heart, and it is a real privilege to be a small part of such a huge, heart-warming event and experience," said John Dudley.
