(December 5, 2012) – The 2013 Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship begins January 5 when the world’s top riders converge at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif., in pursuit of the sport’s biggest prize. Watch the official 2013 Monster Energy Supercross Championship trailer as the hype for the highly anticipated season begins to build.  
Leading the field into Anaheim is two-time defending 450SX Champion Ryan Villopoto, and he will be challenged by 2004 & 2008 450SX Champion Chad Reed, 2010 450SX Champion Ryan Dungey and 2007 & 2009 450SX Champion James Stewart.  In 2013, the plot will undoubtedly thicken as this elite group will be joined by two-time defending 250SX Class Champion and 2012 Monster Energy Cup Champion Justin Barcia. Team AMSOIL will be well represented in Anaheim with Kevin Windham racing the 450 class and Eli Tomac riding the West Coast Lites bike.
