Additionally, all students who wish to purchase a pass must provide a photo ID and a letter from their college or university registrar office, which is on school letterhead and verifies their full-time enrollment status. In order to take part in this program, students must first submit a form to become a Higher Education Representative. All forms can be found on Attitash’s website. Attitash Mountain Resort opened in 1965, and expanded its footprint dramatically during the 1990s, with the development of nearby Bear Peak. Presently, the resort has 67 trails, of which 33% are most difficult, 47% are intermediate, and 20% are novice. In total, the resort spans over 310 skiable acres. Average annual snowfall in the Attitash Mountain region is 155 inches. When the weather is not cooperating, or when a boost to natural snow fall is desirable, Attitash can make snow on 98% of its skiable terrain.
