Smart-Soft releases Traffic Inspector 2.0.1.729

Dec. 5, 2012 - PRLog -- 5 December, 2012. Smart-Soft is pleased to announce the release of Traffic Inspector 2.0.1.729, a gateway solution for network security and access control.

Improvements and changes include:

•Installer with remote installation support (Remote Desktop Services)
•Import Users Wizard for importing users from Active Directory
•Scheduled SQL database management
•Enhanced Traffic Inspector GUI and TI agent

Configuration and usability are the major improvements over the previous versions. The installer for Traffic Inspector now supports remote installation using Remote Desktop Sevices. A new Import Users Wizard was added to the program to allow administrators to easily populate the program with user accounts - just scan the local network for computers or import users from Active Directory. Administrators can now control when synchronizatinon to the external SQL database happens - synchronization can be scheduled to be performed at a specified time.

You can download the new version of Traffic Inspector here. To update an old version of Traffic Inspector, you need to reinstall the program.
