TOA Technologies’ compliance and cloud security expert Alex Hamerstone will participate in this expert panel, addressing how service providers can achieve the right balance between simple communication and secure data, improve authentication processes and educate the user, as well as regulate customer protection. During the panel, Hamerstone will share his contributions on cloud security to TM Forum technical papers, which address patch management, mobile device security, DDOS & BOT protection, server hardening and the securing the human factors that impact security. Hamerstone is a leading participant in the TM Forum initiative to standardize security best practices to simplify the adoption of enterprise IT solutions for the telecommunications industry. His book, Wireless Reconnaissance in Penetration Testing, published by Syngress earlier this year, also explores these topics.

●      eHealth Catalyst Project: “Optimizing the Virtual Housecall” – The Hub, Forumville

Will Claxton, TOA Technologies’ product manager, will present on the role of field service management within the changing landscape of the healthcare industry, among other live demonstrations of unique Catalyst projects at the TM Forum Forumville booth in The Hub during expo hours. eHealth offerings and adoption is predicted to be one of the largest opportunities for new services revenue for TM Forum members, and field service management is one area of immediate applicability.
