The Fifth Annual Toronto Indo-Jazz Festival

Dec. 4, 2012 - PRLog -- TORONTO – Monsoon Music proudly presents THE FIFTH ANNUAL INDO-JAZZ FESTIVAL featuring three of Toronto’s finest jazz and world music ensembles MONSOON, NEAR EAST AND KAYOS THEORY. Each will bring their unique brand of Indo-jazz to Toronto’s home of great jazz, The Rex Hotel, on Saturday, December 8th and Sunday, December 9th along with special guests TED QUINLAN AND DAVID MOTT. This event will feature a debut double-album release for Monsoon and Near East, under the direction of table master Ravi Naimpally, will make their debut appearance at the festival. Kayos Theory will be performing their innovative material from The Experiments of Truth Suite & Tribute to John Coltrane Suite. The following weekend on Sunday, December 16th, Live Young Nutrition and Monsoon Music will present YOGA FOOD MUSIC, a special event  that combines yoga, holistic South Indian cuisine and classical Indian music all at the Inner Garden, Downtown Toronto @ the historic warehouse - 401 Richmond  St. W.
