Bedales Prep Dunhurst win U13 Netball Tournament

Dec. 4, 2012 - PRLog -- Pupils at Bedales Prep, Dunhurst, are celebrating their success after winning the U13 Netball tournament at Highfield last week. The girls played five schools in total playing consistently well in all matches. They beat Amesbury 6-0; Edgeborough 7-2; KES Witley 7-1; Highfield 5-2; and Priorsfield 8-1 in the final. This was a great result for the team who have been working hard to get the results this term. On Sunday some of the players enjoyed a netball masterclass, held at Lancing College, to further refine their skills.

On the hockey pitch, the U11A team won against Ditcham Park 5-3.

Commenting on the results, Jane Grubb, Head of Bedales Prep Dunhurst, said: “Our U13 girls’ netball team won their tournament in style. It is great to see all their hard work and determined practice paying dividend. We look forward to further strong results as the Autumn term draws to a close.”
