Once a year, B.B.A. provides an all-expenses-paid journey to Walt Disney World for kids with chronic and terminal illnesses & their families.
By: Colony Square Midtown Fifteen companies in Colony Square will decorate 18 trees for the team-building competition. Participants will be encouraged to get creative with their trees but most will have a Disney theme to correlate with the concept of Bert’s Big Adventure. The decorated trees will be on display in the Food Court Atrium from Monday, Dec. 3-Thursday, Dec. 13. Colony Square tenants, visitors and guests will be encouraged to donate $1 to vote for their favorite tree at the concierge desk and they can vote as often as they like. All proceeds from votes and the tree auction will go toward Bert’s Big Adventure. Tree Trimmers Holiday Celebration To celebrate the people and companies that participated in the contest, Colony Square will host a Tree Trimmers Holiday Celebration on Wednesday, Dec. 12, from 5pm- 7:30pm, in the Food Court Atrium. The votes will be counted for the “Highest Earning Tree” (tree with the most votes) and judges will determine the winners in other categories, including “Most Creative Tree” and more. All of the trees will be auctioned off to the highest bidder, with all proceeds going to Bert’s Big Adventure. The event, which is sponsored in part by Colony Square Dental Associates, is free and open to the public. End
