Great Southern Yachts Showcasing New Inventory at The Atlanta Boat Show 2013

PRLog (Press Release) - Dec. 3, 2012 - Great Southern Yachts is proud to be a part of the upcoming Atlanta Boat Show. The event is Georgia’s annual premier boat show and this year the Atlanta Boat Show is celebrating its 50th year as the best place to see and buy boats, gear and boating accessories! This year’s event will be from January 10 – 13, 2013 at the Georgia World Congress Center. Tickets for the Atlanta Boat Show go on sale November 23rd.

The Atlanta Boat Show is a major event with boating and yachting enthusiasts as it will feature hundreds of new boats, including powerboats, sport fishers, ski boats and personal watercraft. Vendors and sporting organizations will have booths setup showcasing the latest in brokerage vessels, engines, marine gear, electronics and accessories.

This year’s big anniversary show will include seminars and showcases including:

● Professional wakeboarders, brothers Phil and Bob Soven from the MTV Reality Show WakeBrothers (http://www.mtv.com/shows/wakebrothers/series.jhtml), will be at the show for autographs and photographs.
● Craftsmen and boat owner interested in learning new techniques for taking care of your boat or motor will enjoy free daily sessions offering practical, professional advice at Fred’s Shed (http://www.theoutboarddoctor.com/).
● The Fishing Center will hold hourly seminars hosted by Ken Sturdivant (http://www.havefunfishing.com/ken_sturdivant_bio.htm) and the area’s top captains and guides. There will be sessions covering both saltwater and freshwater fishing and even a catch-and-release trout pond for the kids.
● Windsong Sailing Academy (http://www.windsongsail.com/2/main.aspx) will present a variety of exciting, educational Sailing Seminars perfect for new and seasoned sailors interested in how to get started in sailing or to sharpen and expand your skills.

Great Southern Yachts is very excited to be a part of Atlanta Boat Show 2013. Show attendance was up last year and Great Southern Yacht employees met boating enthusiasts from all over the Southeast area.
