Chorale Bel Canto Presents Annual Christmas Concert and Marketplace Craft Fair

Christmas with Chorale Bel Canto returns to Whittier Presbyterian Church at 6030 El Rancho Drive in Whittier, California on Saturday, December 15, 2012 for two performances -- at 4:-00 pm and 7:30 pm.  The concert will be conducted by Maestro Stephen Gothold, directing the 80-member ensemble, Chorale Bel Canto and will also include as guest, the Bonita School District Elementary Choirs under the direction of Deb Waas.

The performances will feature Christmas carols and motets including Benjamin Britten's Ceremony of Carols for Women's Voices and Harp, as well as Christmas music for men's voices.  As in previous years, the Chorale will include sing-along carols which will include audience participation.

Sing in the season with the Chorale as they offer a great variety of wonderful seasonal music from medieval to modern, from traditional to fun-filled!  There is something for everyone, and sing-along carols for YOU!

Christmas Marketplace Craft Fair

From 3:00 pm to 9:30 pm, patrons and visitors will have the opportunity to explore our first Christmas Marketplace Craft Fair which will be held in the basement of of Whittier Presbyterian Church.  Holiday gift items will be for sale before, during, in between performances, and after the last encore performance of the day.  The event is FREE.

Parking Advisory --
Limited street parking is available as well as  a nearby lot and the parking lot at Palm Park.  Concert goers are advised to come early for the best available parking.
